      I would not recommend to use the Epipen during Cardiac arrest. High-quality CPR and AED use is what's going to save the victim.

      I do agree that Normal Saline is the recommended crystalloid for Hypovolemia. But also see page 189 of the NRP 8th Edition manual: 'Lactated Ringers solution is an acceptable alternative but is not as commonly available'

    Thank you for your informative video, as always. I noticed a discrepancy that I'd appreciate clarification on. At 4:47 minutes, you mentioned that the endotracheal (ET) dose of adrenaline is 2-3 times the intravenous (IV) dose. However, in your video on bradycardia at 5:15 minutes, you stated that the ET dose is 0.1 mg/kg, which is actually 10 times the IV dose. Could you explain this discrepancy and clarify the actual guidelines according to the American Heart Association (AHA)? For reference, here is the link to your bradycardia video: ruclips.net/video/6Vu6PC8fIuo/видео.html&ab_channel=TheResuscitationCoach

    The video is very nice and useful-thank you for uploading such valuable material. At 4:32 minutes, you mentioned that the depth of compression should be one-third of "your" anteroposterior diameter. This could be a bit confusing, so I suggest using the term "patient's" instead of "your" for clarity.

    Quick question, with amoidarone for VT/VF arrest, does one just keep bolusing amiodarone until ROSC/ no ROSC? Is the infusion only for maintenance once ROSC obtained?

    • @TheResuscitationCoach
      @TheResuscitationCoach 26 дней назад

      Amiodarone is only given twice during VF/pVT arrest : First dose is 300mg IV Push and the second dose is 150mg IV Push. The way I remember: Shock(1), Shock(2), EPINEPHRINE, Shock (3), AMIODARONE 300mg, Shock (4), EPINEPHRINE, Shock (5), AMIODARONE 150mg. The equel number of shocks are followed by Epi and the odd number of shocks (3 & 5) is followed by Amio. Infusion is not used during cardiac arrest.

    I would love a Video, getting additional Information and Attention on First Responder Apps active in the UK/US Like the GoodSAM or other Apps, explaining the importance of registering in these Apps as well as registering your local AEDs, as many people don't know about the importance or the placement of public Defibrillators in their communites. Where are the existing ones and do they even still work? Are they registered in the local First Responder Systems? How efficient are first Responder Systems at providing BLS measures and how do they influence patient outcome? Keep up the good videos.👍🏻
